My stay at The Boot And Shoe Inn was delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I particularly enjoyed the superb dinner and the excellent breakfast offered each morning.

i was completely underwhelmed with my stay. waiting an hour for fish and chips is unacceptable, especially with the noise from the hot water system. a complimentary treat would have been nice since i had to endure that! and breakfast in a windowless room? that’s rich, considering the sunshine outside! i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The ensuite was a bit cramped, with the door nearly striking the sink!!! Navigating through roadworks in the village added frustration to my arrival. Wifi strength could use some improvement as well!!!

The atmosphere was enhanced by a cozy fireplace, perfect for winter evenings, and the food was exceptional, particularly the grilled dishes which were cooked to perfection. Although the car park was tricky to locate in the dark and icy conditions, the warm welcome from the staff made up for it. the limited breakfast hours on weekdays might inconvenience some guests, and the noise from the pub quiz could be distracting if you prefer a quieter stay.
